Holistic medicine is a system of medicine that treats the whole person, including  the physical body, mind, and spirit.  

Complementary and Alternative Medicine refers any non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical modality or medical system other than conventional western medicine used alone or as a complement to conventional western medical treatments such as drugs and surgery.  A few examples of complementary and alternative modalities include therapeutic massage, acupuncture, herbalogy, homeopathy, ayurveda, and chiropractic manipulation.  

Integrative medicine is a holistic approach to medicine that. integrates conventional western medicine and complementary and alternative modalities for which there is quality scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness, to stimulate the body’s natural healing potential.
